The project is addressed to Adult Education, aiming at a threefold approach to learning based on culture, environment and civic participation/volunteering. It provides opportunities for learners to engage in exchange of experience and knowledge, to promote sustainability through volunteering and participation in conservation activities, to learn about forest - their economical, social, cultural and environmental importance, and the search of common cultural experiences that bridge the gaps that may separate the different countries involved, enhancing the recognition of common values for a more peaceful and diverse Europe.
It also aims at creating good quality unconventional learning methodologies and practices capable of renewing the basic skills of E. U. citizens, enabling them to deal with the challenges and demands of a changing and technological world.
In the present Grundtvig partnership we propose to develop, with learners' active participation, a pro-active program of adult civic participation in the environment and the community, where the trainees and the trainers of the institutions will develop competences and skills and learn how to organize and take part in joint European volunteering actions. The opportunities for volunteering will be open to the local community. Each partner will share and will document the activities on the weblog and the newsletter, which will be updated and mantained at the responsibility of the whole group of partners.
